PRIVACY POLICY DETAILS

Pet Policy: Please check the property listing on our website to see if pets are allowed. If pets are permitted, you be allowed to have no more than two (2) pets. You will also be required to pay a $300 pet deposit, per pet. This deposit is refundable at lease end, pending any damage(s). No aggressive breeds (Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, or Chows) will be allowed. *Please note that some properties have special stipulations pertaining to pet size or quantity.*

Roommate Policy: We do not allow roommates without the property owner's approval. A roomate is any unmarried individual. When roommates are permitted, each adult must sign the lease and pay a full security deposit. We do not permit subletting to roommates.

Lease Terms: Most leases require a one-year term. However, there are some properties that allow for a six-month lease. Please call for details. We can start the lease date as soon as the property is available. To terminate the lease, a written 30-day notice is required. To see a sample of the lease, click this link: TAA Sample Lease

Military Clause: Our lease does comply with the U.S. Service Members Civil Relief Act, which allows soldiers to terminate their lease early. You must provide our office with a copy of your military orders and submit a written 30-day notice to move out. You may not terminate the lease to move into on-post housing at Fort Hood or move locally within 30 miles of your home.

e-Leasing: For your convenience, you may execute your lease by email. Each adult signing the lease must have their own email.

Property Holds: We do not hold properties under any circumstances. We do however allow you to pay the deposit and sign the lease for a property ahead of the available date (once your application has been approved). In this case, you will be held responsible for rent starting with the listed 'available' date. Please note that the property will not be able to be viewed until the available date, regardless of when you sign the lease.

Military Waivers: The military will no longer be providing military deposit waivers for housing. This waiver was used to reduce the deposit by up to 50%. Effective immediately, we will no longer offer this service. However, we will continue to offer superior customer service here at Lone Star Realty!
