Coronavirus (COVID-19) Modified Services Update

UPDATED MESSAGE:  MARCH 24, 2020

 
Due to the Bell County Disaster Declaration #3, the Shelter in Place directive, we are only conducting essential business.  If you have an absolute emergency work order, please put in your request through your tenant portal and we will assign the work to a vendor.  We will be monitoring the tenant community message board, so please post any critical issues through your portal.  The office telephone will not be answered unitl the order is lifted.

Our office is completely open and operational. The only major adjustment for us has been the use of the drive-through window for all in-person visits to our office. We are still showing vacant properties, accepting rental applications, receiving rent and processing essential maintenance requests.  And, for now, we will be open for the next 2 upcoming Saturdays.

We encourage everyone - owners and residents - to communicate with us through your portal or email.  We recommend all residents to pay their rent through the portal as well.  

As of today, no adjustments to the provisions of the lease have been made.  With the government stimulus coming soon, this payment will assist everyone financially.  Property owners are still obligated to make their mortgage payments so they must collect the rent to maintain a good standing with their lender.  
Accordingly, we still expect everyone to pay their rent on time.

We ask for your patience during this crisis as we are all learning how best to keep operations running smoothly while minimizing our social interactions to keep everyone safe and healthy.

UPDATED MESSAGE:  MARCH 20, 2020


At Lone Star Realty & Property Management, Inc., the health and safety of our residents and staff is always our top priority.  To support the effort to stop the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are taking some precautionary actions to protect all our residents and office staff.
Our goal is to reduce the services that require in-person visits.


Our office hours during the week will remain unchanged open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday – Friday.  On Saturdays, we will only be open on the 1st and last Saturday of the month from 10 am – 2 pm.  Based on this, we will be closed on Saturday, March 21st, but open on March 28th and April 4th.
  1. The main office lobby will be closed; however, the drive-thru window will remain open.  We encourage you to communicate with us by email, through your portal or by telephone.  We will be actively monitoring and responding to all incoming communications.
  2. All in-person office business must be conducted through the drive-thru window, which is located on the right side (west) of the office building.
  3. All rent payments must be paid through the tenant portal or through the drive-thru window.
  4. All work orders must be submitted through the tenant portal.  Only essential health and safety and emergency work orders will be done.
  5. All mid-lease and renewal inspections are suspended.  We will reschedule them when the risk is acceptable.
  6. Prospective new tenants may pick up a copy of our rental vacancy list outside of our front door.  Keys for vacant properties may be checked out at the drive-thru window.
  7. New applications and leases will be conducted online.
We understand that this may cause a temporary inconvenience to all of us, but we want to ensure your health is not put at risk.   Once the risk has been reduced to normal level, we will resume our normal services.
